Preparation
- The Midea device is already on the network: make sure your Midea device is connected to your home Wi-Fi.
- Strongly recommended: use the Meiju or NetHome Plus app to set up the device network. If the device is new, try NetHome Plus (the international version) first, because it is more friendly to third-party token extraction.
Home Assistant already has HACS installed:

Step 1: Download the integration in HACS
- Open Home Assistant and click HACS in the left sidebar.
